2020 Honda Civic Safety Features
When deciding on a vehicle to buy, there are a lot of factors to consider. How fuel efficient is this vehicle compared to other competitors? Is this vehicle big enough for my needs? Does it have enough seats? Is the technology up to snuff? And, perhaps the most important question, will this vehicle keep me safe?
Today, we’ll look at which safety features the 2020 Honda Civic has. For instance:
Does the 2020 Honda Civic have blind-spot monitoring?
2020 Honda Civic Blind-Spot Monitoring
The 2020 Honda Civic EX, EX-L, and Touring do have a form of blind-spot monitoring, dubbed LaneWatch™. It is a small camera mounted into the passenger-side mirror. Whenever you signal right, the camera turns on and displays video to the touchscreen display. This is a live video feed of your passenger-side blind-spot, effectively making it blind-spot monitoring. This feature can be toggled by pressing a button located at the end of the turn signal stalk.
Honda Sensing® Safety Suite
No matter which 2020 Honda Civic model you choose, you’ll have the full Honda Sensing® Technologies suite. That means you get numerous safety features standard on every Honda Civic. What safety features are those? Well, the safety suite includes a Collision Mitigation Braking System, a Road Departure Mitigation System, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, a Lane Keeping Assist System, Forward Collision Warning, and Lane Departure Warning. Each 2020 Honda Civic also has Auto High-Beam Headlights.
