2020 Honda Pilot Integrated Tech and Safety Features
The 2020 Honda Pilot is the newest iteration of the Honda three-row midsize SUV. Chances are, if you’re looking at getting one, you have a family. Keeping a vehicle full of kids occupied can be tricky. Nowadays, Wi-Fi can definitely help with that.
So, does the 2020 Honda Pilot have a Wi-Fi hotspot?
Integrated Connectivity Tech
The 2020 Honda Pilot is packed with connectivity features, though they vary by trim. For instance, the Wi-Fi hotspot is only available on the Touring, Elite, and Black Edition trims. Standard features include Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink® and streaming audio capability, speed-sensitive volume compensation, a 215-watt, seven-speaker audio system, and more. The EX trim adds many new features, such as an upgraded 8-inch touchscreen, HondaLink® capability, CabinControl® remote compatibility, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility, text messaging capability, and Sirius XM satellite and HD radio. Other available features include the aforementioned Wi-Fi hotspot, an integrated navigation system, a wireless phone charger, and more.
Available Safety Features
Every 2020 Honda Pilot, regardless of trim, comes with the Honda Sensing® Technologies suite. That means every model gets collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning. Also standard are lane departure warning, lane keep assist, auto high beam headlights, and a rearview camera. The rearview camera comes standard with guidelines, but at the EX trim and up, it gets dynamic guidelines. All but the base LX trim have blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert as well.
