This is made much easier thanks to the Cabin Talk feature. So, how does Cabin Talk work in the 2019 Honda Odyssey?
How do I Access the Honda Cabin Talk Feature?
Cabin Talk is an extremely convenient new feature that acts as an in-car PA system that makes it easy to reach out and talk to rear seat passengers. In order to use the feature, front passengers simply touch the Cabin Talk app on the infotainment system and choose whether to communicate to the rear passengers via car speakers or headphones. Once the feature is activated, it is able to pause the video or mute the audio rear passengers are watching or listening to. Whenever you’re done with Cabin Talk, simply just tap the home or back button to exit the feature.
This feature is available on EX-L, Touring and Elite trims on the Odyssey. While the EX-L and Touring models only have the headphone communication option, the Elite trim offers headphone communication and communication through the van’s speakers.
