How Powerful is the 2018 Honda CR-V? 

When people browse through the Honda model lineup for 2018, a lot of models easily stand out. However, for fans of SUVs looking for a model that offers a great mix of features and performance, look no further than the new CR-V. Available in many different trim levels, drivers have a lot of ways to customize the new model. With its different engine options, just how powerful is the 2018 Honda CR-V? 

2018 Honda CR-V 2.4L 4-Cylinder Engine  

Standard on the new CR-V LX trim level is the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. This engine is also paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission, which helps offer a smooth ride, along with strong performance. This engine is able to generate 184 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque.

2018 Honda CR-V 1.5L Turbo 4-Cylinder Engine 

Also available to drivers is the impressive 1.5-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine. This engine comes standard on upgraded models such as the EX, EX-L and Touring, and of course, uses a turbocharger in order to increase power. This engine is also paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission, as well as produces 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque.
