2020 Honda Pilot Seating Capacity, Dimensions, and Features
One of the deciding factors when it comes to picking an SUV is seating. For instance, a family of six is going to need seats than a typical two-row SUV can provide. Similarly, a new couple probably doesn’t need a full-size three-row SUV.
So, where does the 2020 Honda Pilot fit in that equation? Is it big? Small? What is the standard seating capacity of the 2020 Honda Pilot?
Standard Seating Capacity
The 2020 Honda Pilot has a standard seating capacity of eight or seven, depending on trim and second-row seating options. The LX, EX, and EX-L trims come standard with a max seating capacity of eight. The Touring trim comes with max capacity or eight or seven depending on whether you opt for the second-row bench seat or second-row captain’s chairs. The Elite and Black Edition trims both have a max seating capacity of seven with standard second-row captain’s chairs.
Upholstery and Comfort Features
After the base LX trim, the 2020 Honda Pilot starts getting upgrades to its seating. The EX trim gets heated front seats, one-touch second-row seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with power lumbar support, and tri-zone automatic climate control. The EX-L gets a power-adjustable passenger seat and leather-trimmed upholstery. The Touring gets access to available second-row captain’s chairs. The Elite gets heated captain’s chairs standard as well as ventilated front seats. The Black Edition has some updated styling, but otherwise shares the Elite seating features.
