What’s New in the 2019 Honda Civic?
2019 will be a huge year for Honda. Not only does it mark the newest model year lineup of vehicles, but the Civic is entering its 10th generation. The Civic sedan is set to release later this year along with the Civic Si Coupe and Sedan models, as well as the Civic Hatchback and Civic Type R. So, what’s new in the 2019 Honda Civic? Let’s take a look.
New Additions to the 2019 Honda Civic
For the new model year, Honda is adding in a new Sport trim to the lineup of Civic models. This bumps the Civic to offering five distinct models for drivers to choose from, including the standard LX model, as well as the Sport, EX, EX-L and Touring trims. The new Civic Coupe is available in LX, Sport, EX or Touring models.
The new Civic also receives new design enhancements such as a restyled lower bumper and new blacked-out headlights. These additions give the Civic a wider look that is also sportier, yet also more sophisticated.
Features of the new 2019 Honda Civic have also been upgraded. For example, the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies is now standard on all trims of both the sedan and coupe models, including new automatic high beams equipped on models. The Civic also offers the redesigned 7-inch Display Audio system which includes the popular Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility with smartphones.
