2020 Honda HR-V Safety Suite, Integrated Tech, and More
When it comes to the crossover and SUV market, competition is fierce. Take Honda for instance. They have the HR-V, the CR-V, the Passport, and the Pilot. Now multiply that number of offerings by all the auto manufacturers on the planet. Yeah. Needless to say, the over-100 offerings on the market really force automakers to distinguish themselves. Today, we’ll be looking at how the 2020 Honda HR-V accomplishes that by looking at the features it has.
Here are the safety and infotainment features available on the 2020 Honda HR-V.
Active Safety Features
The Honda Sensing® Technologies suite of features is standard on the 2020 Honda HR-V EX trim and up. With this comprehensive set of features, you’ll be covered. Included in the suite are: a Collision Mitigation Braking System™, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning. Honda LaneWatch™ and auto high beams are standard from the EX trim onward, too. A multi-angle rearview camera is standard on all trims.
Integrated Infotainment and Connectivity
Starting at the Sport trim, the 2020 Honda HR-V gets many infotainment goodies. For instance, it gets a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration, and HondaLink® service capability. Other features are also available, including SiriusXM® satellite radio, HD radio, and a Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with voice recognition and Honda HD digital traffic capability. An improved 180-watt six-speaker audio system is also available. Automatic climate control, push button start, and auto-dimming rearview mirror and the HondaLink® remote system are available at higher trims as well.
