New Three-Row Midsize SUV in Frederick County, VA
Each 2021 Honda Pilot has a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. When it comes to drivetrains, the 2021 Honda Pilot LX, EX, EX-L, SE, and Touring have standard FWD and available AWD, while the 2021 Honda Pilot Elite and Black Edition have standard AWD. A nine-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters is now standard on the 2021 Honda Pilot. Previously, it was only available on the 2020 Honda Pilot Touring, Elite, and Black Edition trims. The Idle Stop feature is standard on the 2021 Honda Pilot too.
New Trim Level
Another exciting change is the new trim Honda added to the 2021 Honda Pilot: the Special Edition (or SE for short). It slots between the EX-L and Touring, brining many premium features found on the Touring with it, like a hands-free power liftgate and a wireless smartphone charger. When it comes to design elements, the SE has black 20-inch wheels, roof rails, grille, and skid garnishes.
Every 2021 Honda Pilot now comes standard with dual-zone automatic climate control. For the 2020 Honda Pilot, this feature became standard at the EX trim level, extending to the upper trims. The Black Edition also sees some updates with a newly-available Platinum White Pearl exterior paint color. This color is available alongside the classic Crystal Black Pearl paint job. Regardless of which exterior color you choose, the 2021 Honda Pilot Black Edition still include all the classic cosmetic and design elements.
